Indian Navy SSR Medical exam is conducted by the Indian Navy to recruit candidates for the Sailor (Medical Branch) post. Stage Selection Process Details
Stage 1 INET Written Exam Computer-based test with 100 objective questions from English, Science, Biology and General Awareness. Duration: 1 hour with 0.25 negative marking.
Stage 2 Shortlisting Candidates are shortlisted based on marks obtained in the INET exam on a state-wise basis.
Stage 3 Physical Fitness Test Includes 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups and bent knee sit-ups.
Stage 4 Stage-II Written Exam Candidates qualifying PFT appear for another written exam.
Stage 5 Medical Examination Recruitment medical exam conducted by authorised naval doctors.
Stage 6 Final Merit List Selection based on Stage-II exam performance and medical fitness.
Stage 7 Training Selected candidates undergo basic training at INS Chilka, Odisha.
